Guidelines for Submitting Logos

If you're interested in printing a logo on your lanyard, we have some guidelines to help you get the best quality product and exactly what you expect. ABC Lanyards makes high quality lanyards for the lowest prices. In order to keep our prices low we require vector artwork in either AI or EPS format. If you don't have vector artwork yet, here is a great website with a free online tool you can try. If that doesn't work we also offer a low priced service with 24 turnaround (recommended to minimize production delays).

File Type

Artwork should be vector images provided as .EPS, .PSD or .AI file types. Any of these formats will produce great quality products as long as the resolution meets or exceeds our recommendations. We accept both MAC and PC files. Full-Color lanyards do not require vector files.

Resolution

Images should be at least 150 dpi, meaning that for 1" lanyards, logos should be at least 150px tall.

Quality

Artwork should be large and clear. A low-quality image will produce unsatisfactory results. Do not try to enlarge the original image, as this will cause a decrease in quality.

Transparency

Certain portions of logo designs are intended to be transparent, or not printed. If you have white in your logo, it will be considered transparent ONLY if you order white lanyards. On any other color, this white space will be considered a second color. If you wish for it to be transparent, please type "Treat white as transparent," in the comment box when you are placing your order.

Colors

Unless you select full color printing in your lanyard order, your logo will be printed in the same color as the text. If you select regular Logo Lanyards and email us a logo with several colors, they will all be printed in the default selected color. This may cause unsatisfactory results.
